Overview
The objective was to build a modern ecommerce website that enables customers to browse pizzas, customize orders, and place them with ease. The site also needed to reflect the brand's vibrant energy, while remaining minimal and easy to use. I designed key sections including the home banner, mobile layout, menu structure, and CTAs, keeping in mind user accessibility and conversion optimization. Key contributions: Designed responsive layouts for both desktop and mobile views Created attractive banners and hero sections for promotions Structured the menu for fast ordering and product visibility Ensured consistent typography, iconography, and brand colors

The Challenge
Cluttered User Experience: The initial layout lacked structure and made it difficult for users to navigate or place an order easily. Mobile Optimization: A significant portion of users access food delivery sites from mobile, but the earlier design was not optimized for mobile responsiveness. Brand Translation: Translating Fasta Pizza’s fresh, flavorful, and bold brand identity into a clean, user-friendly UI was essential but challenging. Content Hierarchy: Important CTAs like "Order Now" or "Customize Pizza" were not prominent, affecting user flow and conversions.
The Solution
Reworked Layouts: I redesigned the home and menu sections for both desktop and mobile, prioritizing intuitive navigation and content clarity. Enhanced Mobile UI: Created a mobile-first design strategy with simplified icons, bold CTAs, and compact product cards for smoother interaction. Visual Identity: Integrated Fasta Pizza's bold colors (red, yellow, black) and fresh imagery to reflect the brand’s fun and youthful personality. User-Centered Design: Structured the flow from landing to ordering in a way that minimizes clicks and decision fatigue.
The Result
Improved Usability: The new layout enabled faster browsing and ordering, leading to a better customer experience across devices. Higher Engagement: Visual banners and CTA placements helped boost user interaction on the homepage and menu pages. Mobile Responsiveness: Mobile users reported smoother navigation and easier order placement. Brand Consistency: The design aligned perfectly with Fasta Pizza's identity, supporting marketing efforts and increasing brand recall.
